Meliá Chiang Mai’s New Afternoon Tea Makes a Splash with Purple

CHIANG MAI – Celebrate the arrival of summer in Chiang Mai with our “Summer Purple Afternoon Tea”, a special afternoon tea inspired by Spanish cuisine.

The afternoon tea features crispy butterfly pea flowers with purple hummus, golden fried potatoes and octopus balls with roasted garlic aioli, and a triple-decker sandwich with chicken and avocado.

Sweets include lavender mousse with mirror glaze, purple potato Mont Blanc, churros with warm blueberry and white chocolate dipping sauce, and butterfly pea flower popsicles.

A special afternoon tea for two inspired by Spanish cuisine the ‘Summer Purple Afternoon Tea’ is available at Ruen Kaew Lounge daily between 2pm – 5pm from 1 April until 30 June 2023 at special price of THB 999 net per set inclusive of a selection of teas or freshly brewed coffee for 2 persons. Normal price is THB 1,245 net per set.
