The Circus Show :«Café Oui-We !» to be Performed at The Alliance Française  Bangkok

Chloé Events and Alagos Prod are proud to announce the upcoming performance of «Café OUI-WE !», a sweet and uplifting contemporary show that combines spectacular acrobatics with vibrant human connections, from March 15 to May 18, 2025. This show, conceived and directed by the visionary circus Artistic Director Chloé Farah, takes audiences into a unique world where unexpected meetings and the joy of life brighten a warm Café at the heart of an international airport.

A Journey to the Heart of Human Connections 

Set in the picturesque environment of a Café, “Café OUI-WE !” tells the story of a series of travelers and a couple of restaurateurs whose destinies intersect. Moving beyond conventional clichés, this place becomes a crossroads of stories where diverse characters – a joyful Brazilian tourist, a passionate businessman with a love for dance, and two inseparable brothers – form unexpected bonds. This show celebrates the beauty of human encounters, uniting cultures and individuals in a whirlwind of emotions and acrobatic feats.

An Acrobatic Showcase of Diverse Talents 

Under the direction of Chloé Farah, one of the most innovative and internationally acclaimed artists in contemporary circus (“Festival du Cirque de Demain”; “Cirque du Soleil”), «Café OUI-WE !» stands out for its diversity of disciplines: German wheel, Chinese pole, juggling, hand-to-hand, aerial hoop, silk rope, and Chinese hoops. With six artists on stage, each an expert in their craft, the show blends unique technical acrobatics with moments of poetic grace.

A Show for Everyone 

The performance speaks to a universal audience of all ages and backgrounds. Its theme of connection and kindness makes it an experience that is both joyful and touching, sure to captivate both the residents of Bangkok and international visitors. «Café OUI-WE !» is more than just a circus show: it’s an invitation to discover the other, to embrace conviviality, and to be amazed.

Chloé Events et Alagos Prod sont fiers d’annoncer la future représentation de « Café OUI-WE ! », un spectacle contemporain tendre et exaltant qui combine acrobaties spectaculaires et liens humains passionnants, du 15 mars au 18 mai 2025. Ce spectacle, conçu et mis en scène par la directrice artistique de cirque visionnaire Chloé Farah, emmène le public dans un monde unique où les rencontres inattendues et la joie de vivre égayent un café chaleureux au cœur d’un aéroport international.

Un voyage au cœur des relations humaines  

Dans le cadre pittoresque d’un café, « Café OUI-WE ! » raconte l’histoire d’une série de voyageurs et d’un couple de restaurateurs dont les destins se croisent. Au-delà des clichés, ce lieu devient un carrefour d’histoires où des personnages divers – une joyeuse touriste brésilienne, un homme d’affaires passionné de danse et deux frères inséparables – tissent des liens inattendus. Ce spectacle célèbre la beauté des rencontres humaines, unissant les cultures et les individus dans un tourbillon d’émotions et de prouesses acrobatiques.

Une vitrine acrobatique de talents divers  

Sous la direction de Chloé Farah, l’une des artistes les plus innovantes et les plus reconnues internationalement dans le domaine du cirque contemporain (« Festival du Cirque de Demain » ; « Cirque du Soleil »), « Café OUI-WE ! » se distingue par la diversité de ses disciplines : roue allemande, mât chinois, jonglerie, main à main, cerceau aérien, corde de soie et cerceaux chinois. Avec six artistes sur scène, chacun expert dans son domaine, le spectacle mêle des acrobaties techniques uniques à des moments de grâce poétique.

Un spectacle pour tous  

Le spectacle s’adresse à un public universel de tous âges et de toutes origines. Le thème de la connexion et de la gentillesse en fait une expérience à la fois joyeuse et touchante, qui captivera les habitants de Bangkok et les visiteurs internationaux. « Café OUI-WE ! » est plus qu’un simple spectacle de cirque : c’est une invitation à la découverte de l’autre, à la convivialité et à l’émerveillement.

Opening of the Associations’ Bureau

Alliance Française Bangkok and Michelin Group are pleased to announce the opening of the associations’ bureau from June 2023. The inauguration will be held at the beginning of June in the presence of His Excellency, Mr. Thierry Mathou, Ambassador of France, Mr. Ariya Banomyong, President of Alliance Française Bangkok, and Mr. Hervé Deguine, Director of Public Affairs Asia-Pacific and NGO Relations at Michelin.

Created with the support of Michelin, this new space aims to bring together civil society initiatives in favor of Thailand’s French-speaking and Francophile communities. Starting in June, it will bring together eight associations working in fields such as welcoming French speakers to Thailand, charitable aid, digital technology, gastronomy, entrepreneurship and eco-responsibility:

Association française pour la bienfaisance en Thaïlande (AFBT)

AFBT provides moral and financial support to French people in need in Thailand, and is part of a global network committed to helping French people in difficulty around the world.

Association des Anciens Étudiants en France (AAEF)

Association aiming to foster links and exchanges between former Thai students who studied in France, to promote French culture in Thailand, and to support the personal and professional development of its members.

Association des disciples d’Escoffier

The aim of the Association des disciples d’Escoffier is to pass on the spirit of the chef’s work to new generations of cooks and gastronomes, and thus to promote respect for gastronomic culture, the quest for improvement in the discipline, and the transmission of gastronomic and culinary knowledge.

Association pour le progrès du Management (APM)

International professional association of French-speaking managers active in the field of management training. Leaders are committed to improving their skills through day-long exchanges and the sharing of experience and expertise, with the aim of driving sustainable progress in their companies.

Bangkok Accueil

Bangkok Accueil’s mission is to welcome the French and Francophone community in Bangkok and facilitate their integration through a variety of activities. Run by volunteers, the association enables newcomers to make contacts and discover their host city and country.

Zéro Déchet

Zéro Déchet Thaïlande is an association that aims to promote a more responsible and less resource-intensive way of life, by exchanging and sharing ideas and tips to encourage eco-actions in everyday life. The association organizes zero-waste awareness workshops for adults and children in schools.

La French Tech Bangkok

La French Tech Bangkok is a local community of volunteers that links the French and Thai entrepreneurial ecosystems through networking events, knowledge exchange and contact sharing.

Club VIE Thaïlande

This club aims to energize the community of expatriates from the Volontaire international program living in Thailand through the organization of afterworks, networking evenings, humanitarian actions and weekends organized to discover this beautiful host country.

สมาคมฝรั่งเศสกรุงเทพ (Alliance Française Bangkok) และกลุ่มมิชลินมีความยินดีที่จะประชาสัมพันธ์ข่าวการเปิดศูนย์รวมสมาคม (Bureau des Associations) ภายในอาคารที่ทำการสมาคมฝรั่งเศสกรุงเทพ ซึ่งจะให้บริการตั้งแต่เดือนมิถุนายน 2566 เป็นต้นไป โดยนายตีแยรี มาตู เอกอัครราชทูตฝรั่งเศสประจำประเทศไทย นายอริยะ พนมยงค์ นายกสมาคมฝรั่งเศสกรุงเทพ และนาย Hervé Deguine ผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายประชาสัมพันธ์ภูมิภาคเอเชียแปซิฟิกและความสัมพันธ์กับองค์กรเอกชน มิชลิน ประเทศไทย จะทำพิธีเปิดศูนย์ Bureau des Associations อย่างเป็นทางการในช่วงต้นเดือนมิถุนายน

พันธกิจของ Bangkok Accueil คือการต้อนรับชาวฝรั่งเศสและชุมชนผู้ใช้ภาษาฝรั่งเศสในกรุงเทพฯ และช่วยเหลือด้านการปรับตัวผ่านกิจกรรมต่างๆ นำโดยอาสาสมัคร สมาคมช่วยให้ผู้มาใหม่สามารถมีปฏิสัมพันธ์กับคนในพื้นที่ และปรับตัวเข้ากับวัฒนธรรมท้องถิ่นได้

Zéro déchet

สมาคมส่งเสริมการมีความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมและการใช้ทรัพยากรน้อยลง Zéro Déchet Thaïland นำเสนอการแลกเปลี่ยนทางความคิด ให้คำแนะนำเพื่อส่งเสริมการอนุรักษ์ส่งแวดล้อมในชีวิตประจำวัน   สมาคมฯ ยังจัดกิจกรรมเวิร์กชอปสร้างจิตสำนึก ลดการสร้างขยะ หรือ “Zero waste”สำหรับทั้งผู้ใหญ่และเด็ก ๆ ในโรงเรียนอีกด้วย

La French Tech Bangkok เป็นสมาคมท้องถิ่นของอาสาสมัครที่ประสานระหว่างผู้ประกอบการฝรั่งเศสและไทยในด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม ผ่านกิจกรรมสร้างเครือข่ายและการแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้

Club VIE Thaïlande

สโมสรนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์ในกลุ่มชาวฝรั่งเศสที่อาศัยอยู่ในประเทศไทย ซึ่งเข้าร่วมโครงการอาสาสมัครนานาชาติ (VIE) ผ่านกิจกรรมพบปะสังสรรค์ยามเย็น กิจกรรมด้านมนุษยธรรม หรือการจัดทริปวันหยุดสุดสัปดาห์ที่เพื่อให้รู้จักกับประเทศไทยมากขึ้น

Alliance Française Bangkok’s General Assembly & Farewell of Dr Jingjai Hanchanlash

The General Assembly of Alliance Française Bangkok took place recently  in the presence of H.E. Mr. Thierry Mathou, the French Ambassador to Thailand.

This assembly, marked by a particular emotion, was the last one presided over by Dr. Jingjai Hanchanlash, whose term of mandate ended after more than 25 years in this position, and who now passes the baton to Mr. Ariya Banomyong!

Alliance Française Bangkok wishes to express its gratitude to Dr. Jingjai Hanchanlash for having tirelessly led our institution, with talent and dedication, from its historical site in Sathorn to the one it occupies today near Lumpini and One Bangkok. Dr. Jingjai has been for Alliance Française an inspiration, a true guide, and a perfect example of the greatness of the Franco-Thai friendship.

On this special occasion and to mark his legacy of immeasurable value, we have renamed our Auditorium under his name “Jingjai Hanchanlash” to his honor.

We wish Dr. Jingjai, our new Honorary President, all the success in his future endeavors, and we will be honored to welcome him to future Alliance Française events, where the doors will always be open to him.

It is with great pleasure and pride that the Alliance Française welcomes Mr. Ariya Banomyong as its new president!

การประชุมครั้งนี้เต็มไปด้วยความรู้สึกอันหลากหลาย เนื่องจากเป็นการประชุมครั้งสุดท้ายของ ดร.ชิงชัย หาญเจนลักษณ์ ในฐานะนายกสมาคม หลังดำรงตำแหน่งมากว่า 25 ปีและได้ส่งไม้ต่อให้แก่ คุณอริยะ พนมยงค์
