<p><span id="more-24495"></span>The host, Chef Som is a highly-acclaimed chef and the owner of SOM’S TABLE where she serves a Carte Blanche Menu which is designed to bring the feeling of warm familiarity with her unique personal flair. With her creative mind and exceptional skills in creating complex yet comforting flavours, Chef Som has collaborated alongside other local and Internationally famous chefs.</p>

<p>Originally from the Republic of Peru, Guest Chef Andre Josef Nweh Severino, the ‘nomadic’ chef of Nómada hones his skills in a variety of renowned and respected establishments. He approaches his dishes with a strong touch of South-American tastes. Chef Andre carefully selects the finest produce to create bold new flavours and embraces open-fire cooking techniques for maximum taste and texture.</p>
<p>Chef Andre will join hands with Chef Som at SOM’S TABLE this July 2022 to present an epicurean collaboration that promises to go beyond culinary borders. The talented duo will arouse your taste bud and orchestrate a delicious sonata that transcends cultural boundaries. The ten-course menu celebrates local ingredients, premium imported produce, and a variety of flavours. With a curated wine list to perfectly complement the dining experience, it will be a well-rounded gastronomic experience.</p>

<p>The menu kicks off with two bites. Oyster Kiss; an imitation of Thai Street Food, Hoy Tod from Chef Som, and Scallop Quinoa Pop; Gratin scallops with Grana Padano cheese in leek and yellow pepper sauce with citrus notes and flavored with sesame from Chef Andre. Followed by Causa de Pulpo al Olivo; Peruvian potato base mixed with yellow chili paste and olive oil crowned with octopus marinated and grilled in local spices and peppers bathed in a stable emulsion of purple olives, a dish styled by Nómada.</p>

<p>The popular While Fish Bites; house-smoked black cod and basil from a garden infused with Sambal rice are an offering from Chef Som at SOM’S TABLE and the mains, feature Chef Som&#8217;s 10 hours Braised Beef Tongue, and Chef Andre&#8217;s Lamb slow-cooked on the grill with corn tamales. There will also be 2 exceptional savoury dishes the Chefs will collaborate on but we will leave the answers to that mystery with the lucky diners.</p>

<p>Description: SOM’S TABLE is a carte blanche restaurant opened by “Som” Jutamas Theantae which is located on Khao Tao beach, a secluded and quiet Hua Hin beach.</p>
<p>Chef Som discovered the historical house by the seaside in 2021 and instantly fell in love with it. Shortly after, Som decided that this location would be where she would open her restaurant, SOM’S TABLE. The double-story 80-year-old wooden heritage house lies amidst local seaside residents&#8217; homes and has a stunning, uninterrupted view of cream sands and admiral blue sea waters, framed by moored fisherman boats and coconut trees.</p>
<p>The house was restored for the new restaurant in order to retain its age-old beauty but with a new, minimal, and modern sophisticated style. Guests at SOM’S TABLE may enjoy drinking wine and cocktails on the front lawn facing the calming sea view or admire the vibrant edible garden with seasonal herbs, flowers, and vegetables which they will find the same garden ingredients in their daily menus.</p>
<p>The menu available at SOM’S TABLE is an A La Carte, Carte Blanche Menu, meaning &#8220;according to the menu or chef&#8221;, which changes daily to weekly based on what the Chef creates and the availability of fresh produce. The comforting dishes are designed to bring the feeling of warm familiarity, with portions friendly for sharing, and notwithstanding the professional skill set and personal flair of Chef Som. These meals are also fitting to pair with the selections of fine wines which Chef Som curated the list herself in order to compliment the SOM’S TABLE dining experience.</p>

<p>Long time colleagues and friends, <b>Chef “Som” Jutamas Theantae</b> (Founder and Chef of SOM’S TABLE, Hua Hin) and <b>Chef “Fang” Nattapong Norchoovech</b> (Chef / TV Host), will reunite to cook together <b>this March 24th and 25th of March 2022</b> at SOM’S TABLE for a menu reminiscent of their French Cuisine days but with twists and turns contributed by their respective journeys.</p>
<p><span id="more-23444"></span>It has been 16 years since Chang Fang was a Sous Chef working alongside Chef Som, who he admired as a great Chef, expressing “<i>Who doesn’t want to cook with a great chef”</i> when asked about why this reunion is happening. Chef Som, who was in awe of Chef’s Fang fresh talent when they first met, had said in return, <i>“It is meaningful to me to have chances to cook with meaningful people in my life.”</i></p>
<p>The two have stayed in touch over the years, with a promise between them that there would be a Kitchen Reunion someday, however COVID-19 arrived.</p>
<p>After several postponements in plans, the world has begun to spin around again, allowing this Long Overdue Reunion to finally happen.</p>
<p><b>For 2 nights</b>, the Chefs will create a delectable <b>7 course dinner</b> at 2,700 THB ++ per head for a limited seating of lucky diners at Hua Hin’s hottest Seaside and Wine Restaurant, <b>SOM’S TABLE in Hua Hin, Kao Tao Beach.</b></p>
