Anantara Siam Puts the Spotlight on Charity with the
Christmas Tree Charity Project
To raise funds for the Friends in Need (of “PA”) Volunteers Foundation, Thai Red Cross.

Mom Luang Sarali Kitiyakara represented Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali Krom Muen Suddhanarinatha at the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, hosted at Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel to thank the hotel’s loyal clients and friends. This ceremony welcomes the beginning of the festive season as it has for the past three decades and commences a series of seasonal events throughout December.

Anantara Siam is supporting The Rajvithi Home for Girls with the festive ‘Make a Wish’ initiative in the name of giving back after a difficult year. The unique organisation provides total support and educational services for underprivileged children. Guests visiting Anantara Siam over the festive period will be able to select a wish made by one of the girls aged between 5-12 years old and make it come true by donating it. The children will all receive their donated gifts at a ceremony hosted by Anantara Siam on January 7^th.

This year also marks the 13^th year that the Christmas Tree Charity Project has run which unites various sponsors and the celebrity artists who designed the trees. Each tree was designed under the theme “The Sustainable Christmas Trees”, depicting a tree which, when not in use for Christmas, can be recycled and used as a decorative piece or applied as small gifts afterwards. The best decorated Christmas tree, decided by a popular vote, was awarded to the tree of Kanokkun Co., Ltd. designed by Ingkawat Thanonthitiphat with the concept of “Utopia Christmas Tree”. The winner went home with HRH Princess Soamsawali, the Princess Suddhanarinatha’s Trophy.

The Christmas Tree Charity Project showcases the creativity of Thailand’s leading interior designers, architects, celebrities and lifestyle artists in decorating the Christmas trees commissioned by select luxury partners including, BTS Group, Grandwork Interior (Thailand) Co., Ltd, Bumrungrad International Hospital, Indorama Ventures PCL., Kanokkun Co., Ltd. and Asian Institute of Hospitality Management (AIHM).

The Christmas trees are displayed around Parichart Court, the open-air courtyard at the hotel until 3 January 2021. Proceeds from the funds raised from the sponsors’ donations will support the Friends in Need (of “PA”) Volunteers Foundation, Thai Red Cross.

Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali recently presided over the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, organised by Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel to thank the hotel’s loyal clients and friends. This ceremony welcomes the festive season following the traditional festivities for the past 35 years in this hotel.

This year also marks the 11th year that the Christmas Tree Charity Project has run here, in association with the hotel’s  media partners, L’Officiel Thailand and L’Officiel Hommes magazines, various sponsors and the celebrity artists who designed the trees. Each tree was designed under the theme “The Sustainable Christmas Trees”, depicting a tree which, when not in use for Christmas, can be recycled and used as a decorative piece or applied as small gifts afterwards. The best decorated Christmas tree, decided by a popular vote, was awarded to the tree of Kanokkun Co., Ltd. designed by Ingkawat Thanonthitiphat with the concept of “Teddy Bear”. Both the company and artist went home with a trophy presented by HRH Princess Soamsawali.

โรงแรมอนันตรา สยาม กรุงเทพ จัดงานฉลองคริสต์มาสการกุศล ปี 2561

พระเจ้าวรวงศ์เธอ พระองค์เจ้าโสมสวลี พระวรราชาทินัดดามาตุ เสด็จทรงเป็นองค์ประธานในพิธีเปิดไฟประดับต้นคริสต์มาส ประจำปี 2561  ซึ่งจัดเป็นธรรมเนียมปฎิบัติมาอย่างต่อเนื่องถึง 35 ปี ณ โรงแรมอนันตรา สยาม กรุงเทพ

โดยในงานดังกล่าว มีการจัดประกวดการตกแต่งต้นคริสมาสต์เพื่อการกุศลประจำปี ซึ่งโครงการนี้จัดมาอย่างต่อเนื่องเป็นครั้งที่ 11  ในปีนี้ได้รับความสนับสนุนจาก นิตยสาร L’Officiel Thailand และ L’Officiel Hommes รวมทั้งบริษัทเอกชนต่างๆ เหล่าศิลปิน แฟชั่นดีไซน์เนอร์ สถาปนิกที่มีชื่อเสียง ให้เกียรติมาร่วมเฉลิมฉลองเทศกาลแห่งความสุขในครั้งนี้  คอนเซ็ปต์ต้นคริสต์มาสเพื่อการกุศล ถูกรังสรรค์ขึ้นภายใต้แนวความคิด “ต้นคริสต์มาสที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม” โดยใช้วัสดุที่สามารถนำกลับมารีไซเคิลเพื่อใช้ประโยชน์ในรูปแบบอื่นต่อไป หรือสามารถนำไปเป็นของตกแต่งที่บ้านและสำนักงาน หรือประดิษฐ์เป็นของขวัญเพื่อส่งมอบความสุขได้หลังจากช่วงเทศกาลนี้อีกด้วย  โดยรายได้จากการจัดงานครั้งนี้จะนำสมทบทุนมูลนิธิอาสาเพื่อนพึ่ง(ภาฯ) ยามยาก สภากาชาดไทย

บริษัทเอกชนและดีไซน์เนอร์ผู้ที่เข้าร่วมประกวดการตกแต่งต้นคริสมาสต์เพื่อการกุศลในปีนี้ ได้แก่มิสอลิซาเบธ รอมฮิลด์ ออกแบบต้นคริสต์มาสให้กับเมซง เบอร์ชเย่ ปารีส, คุณวสุ วิรัชศิลป์ ออกแบบต้นคริสต์มาสให้กับธนาคารซิตี้แบงก์, คุณปรีชา รักซ้อน และคุณวรัญญู ช่างประดิษฐ์ ออกแบบต้นคริสต์มาสให้กับบริษัท ดีวาน่า สปา จำกัด, คุณสุวัฒน์ วสะภิญโญกุล จาก สถาปนิก 49  ออกแบบต้นคริสต์มาสให้กับเรสเทียร์, คุณอิงควัชร์ ธนนท์ฐิติภัทร์ ออกแบบต้นคริสต์มาสให้กับบริษัท กนกกุล จำกัด และคุณแคทลียา ท้วมประถม ออกแบบต้นคริสต์มาสให้กับ เปเลวา  นอกจากนี้ยังมี ธนาคารเอชเอสบีซี และ บริษัท แกรนด์เวิร์ค อินทีเรียร์ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด ที่ออกแบบต้นคริสต์มาสโดยทีมครีเอทีฟและฝ่ายศิลป์ของบริษัทเองอีกด้วย

บริษัทและดีไซน์เนอร์ผู้ชนะเลิศการประกวดออกแบบตกแต่งต้นคริสต์มาสที่ได้รับคะแนนนิยมสูงสุด ได้แก่นายเกียรติภูมิ เอี่ยมเพชร์ ผู้แทนจากบริษัท กนกกุล จำกัด และดีไซน์เนอร์ผู้ออกแบบคือนายอิงควัชร์ ธนนท์ฐิติภัทร์ ได้ 97,454 คะแนน ออกแบบด้วยคอนเซ็ปต์ “Teddy Bear” เข้ารับประทานถ้วยรางวัลชนะเลิศ พระเจ้าวรวงศ์เธอ พระองค์เจ้าโสมสวลี พระวรราชาทินัดดามาตุ ในงานนี้

บุคคลทั่วไปสามารถเข้าชมความสวยงามและสร้างสรรค์ของต้นคริสต์มาสการกุศลที่ได้รับการตกแต่งอย่างสวยงาม โดยไม่คิดค่าใช้จ่าย ซึ่งจะจัดแสดงอยู่ในพื้นที่โดยรอบบริเวณสวนปาริชาติ ชั้น 1 ณ โรงแรมอนันตรา สยาม กรุงเทพ(ถ.ราชดำริ) จนถึงวันที่ 5 มกราคม 2562
