ลาแฟ็ต งานเทศกาลวัฒนธรรมไทยฝรั่งเศส จัดโดยฝ่ายวัฒนธรรมและความร่วมมือของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฝรั่งเศส   เป็นกิจกรรมที่จัดขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่องและนำเสนอกิจกรรมตลอดทั้งปี  ให้ทั้งสาระและความบันเทิง  สำหรับคนทุกรุ่นทุกวัยที่ชื่นชอบและค้นหาศิลปะทุกแขนง  ไม่ว่าจะเป็นในรูปแบบของนิทรรศการ คอนเสิร์ต การแสดง และอีกมากมาย

สมาคมฝรั่งเศสกรุงเทพ เป็นศูนย์รวมของกิจกรรมวัฒนธรรมฝรั่งเศสในรูปแบบหลากหลาย อาทิ ภาษาฝรั่งเศส  นิทรรศการ  ภาพยนตร์ คอนเสิร์ต  รวมทั้งเปิดโอกาสในการท่องเที่ยวอีกด้วย

ตลอดสองเดือนของพฤษภาคมและมิถุนายนที่จะมาถึงนี้   สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฝรั่งเศสประจำประเทศไทย และสมาคมฝรั่งเศสกรุงเทพ จะร่วมมือกันนำเสนอโปรแกรมที่น่าตื่นตาตื่นใจแก่ผู้ชม และเชิญชวนทุกท่านมาร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของกิจกรรมทั้งหมด ที่จะมารวมตัวกันใน French Highlights #1 อันเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของกิจกรรม ลาแฟ็ต  

ผู้ชมได้พบกับการแสดงคุณภาพคับคั่งจากประเทศฝรั่งเศส ทั้ง คอนเสิร์ต การแสดงการเต้น ไปจนถึงนิทรรศการศิลปะ รวมทั้งการแสดงจากคณะนักแสดงชื่อเสียงระดับโลก  คณะ Non Nova ที่เพิ่งได้รับการเสนอชื่อเข้าชิงรางวัล สาขา ”การแสดงสำหรับเยาวชนยอดเยี่ยม” จากรางวัล Molière ปี 2017 เป็นต้น

คอนเสิร์ต Yelle

Yelle แสดงคอนเสิร์ตมาแล้วมากกว่า 350 ครั้ง โดยเฉพาะคอนเสิร์ตในสหรัฐอเมริกาประสบความสำเร็จอย่างสูง คอนเสิร์ตของ Yelle ที่อาร์ซีเอ นั้น จัดร่วมกับ Medium Rare Live ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการออกทัวร์งาน French Miracle จัดโดย Institut Français เพื่อประชาสัมพันธ์คอนเสิร์ต ดนตรี ความร่วมมือ ของศิลปินฝรั่งเศสในเอเชียตั้งแต่พ.ศ. 2558

Marc Coppey ได้รับการยกย่องเป็นหนึ่งในนักเชลโลคนสำคัญของวงการดนตรีในปัจจุบันและเป็นลูกศิษย์ของ Yehudi Menuhin จะมาจัดคอนเสิร์ตที่สมาคมฝรั่งเศสกรุงเทพ ร่วมกับ Bangkok Chamber Orchestra นำวงโดยนักประพันธ์เพลง Laurent Couson

Gilles Rieu ศิลปิน “Globe Painter” (ศิลปินสตรีทอาร์ท) จัดแสดงผลงานมาแล้วทั้งที่นิวยอร์กจนถึงประเทศจีน รวมถึงอิสราเอลและญี่ปุ่น สำหรับนิทรรศการในกรุงเทพ เขาเลือกที่จะทำงานบนแผ่นกระดาษยาว 10 เมตร คล้ายกับ Kerouac ใน “On the Road” งานเขียนของเขา ภาพศิลปะนี้เป็นการแสดงถึงรูปภาพ ลายเส้นกราฟ ภาษา องค์ประกอบสิ่งของต่างๆ ภาพท่าทางที่ต่างสะท้อนถึงประสบการณ์ของเขา

คณะเต้นรำที่รวมความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรม ก่อตั้งขึ้นจากนักเต้น 6 ท่าน พวกเขาจะนำท่านสู่การแสดงอันยอดเยี่ยม ซึ่งได้รับการออกแบบท่าเต้นโดย Nathanaël Marie อันเป็นผลงานความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศไทยและสวิตเซอร์แลนด์

คณะนักดนตรี Ensemble Multilatéral เคยออกทัวร์ในภูมิภาคเอเชียเป็นครั้งแรก ที่สิงคโปร์ อินโดนีเซียและประเทศไทย เมื่อเดือนมีนาคมปีที่แล้ว พันธมิตรทั้งสองฝ่ายคือ Institut français ประจำอินโดนีเซีย และมหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากรที่กรุงเทพฯ มีเจตนารมณ์ที่จะเชื่อมต่อความร่วมมือกับ  Ensemble Multilatéral สำหรับประเทศไทย จะมีเวิร์คชอบและการแสดงคอนเสิร์ตที่กรุงเทพ และเชียงใหม่

ขณะนี้ เราพูดถึงกันแต่เธอคนนี้ นักเต้นและนักออกแบบท่าเต้นฮิป-ฮอปหญิง Marion Motin ซึ่งมีชื่อเสียงมากจากผลงานแสดงทั้งหมด โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในผลงานของ Stromae และ Christine and the Queen รวมทั้งละครเพลง Résiste ซึ่ง Marion Motin เป็นผู้ออกแบบท่าเต้น ขณะเดียวกันผลงานทั้งหมด ก็ไม่ได้เป็นอุปสรรคในการสร้างสรรค์งานเชิงลึก กับคณะ Swaggers ที่เธอก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี 2552

ตั้งแต่นักเต้นใช้เวลาคิดค้นองค์ประกอบของอากาศ เธอได้ออกแบบการแสดงที่ใช้ลม ถึง 2 การแสดงด้วยกัน คือ L’après-midi d’un Foehn ซึ่งจะมาแสดงในช่วงกลางวัน และ Vortex จะแสดงในช่วงเย็น Phia Ménard ตั้งคำถามถึงลักษณะเฉพาะตน และโลมเล้าความเปราะบางที่อยู่ในเกราะของตัวเรา การแสดงเวทีที่อยู่ก้ำกึ่งระหว่าง ละครที่ใช้อุปกรณ์เคลื่อนไหว เซอร์คัส และการเต้น โลกของเธอที่บางครั้งน่าตื่นเต้นและบางครั้งก็คุ้นเคย Phia Ménard ชอบทำงานกับวัสดุที่ไม่มั่นคงและมีอายุไขสั้น สำหรับเธอแล้ว การปะทะกันโดยตรงกับวัสดุทางกายภาพทำให้เกิดสัมพันธภาพที่เป็นรูปธรรมของการมีตัวตนอยู่กับโลกและกับตัวเอง

มีตำนานเล่าว่าใครพับนกกระเรียนได้ 1000 ตัว เขาคนนั้นจะได้รับพรตามที่ปรารถนา Valentine Nagata-Ramos ผสมผสานการเต้นบูโตะ ฮิปฮอป และศิลปะการพับกระดาษสร้างผลงาน เฉพาะตนขึ้นมา โดยได้รับแรงบันดาลมาจากตำนานเก่าแก่นี้ เธอได้ผูกเล่าเรื่องราวชีวิตวัยเด็กจนเป็นผู้ใหญ่

คณะนักเต้น จะร่วมทำเวิร์คชอบ 3 วันกับนักเต้นฮิปฮอปชาวไทยและจะนำมาแสดงในคืนเดียวกัน

นิทรรศการ What is not visible is not invisible เป็นผลงานศิลปะสะสมของแคว้นต่างๆในประเทศฝรั่งเศส (Regional Funds for Contemporary Art in France) นิทรรศการนำเสนอผลงานทั้งหมด 34 ชิ้นจากผลงานศิลปะสะสมของแคว้นต่างๆทั้งหมด 23 แห่ง ที่รวมศิลปินทั้งหมด 32 คน ทั้งฝรั่งเศสและต่างชาติๆที่สร้างสรรค์ผลงานตาม concept ของนิทรรศการที่พูดถึงความรู้สึกนึกคิดที่ไม่เคยสัมผัสมาก่อน ในพื้นที่นิทรรศการที่สร้างขึ้นเพียงระยะสั้นๆและอ่อนไหว

Organized by the cultural service of the French Embassy, La Fête is now an all year-long program for those who want to discover arts in all their form: culture, concerts, shows, and other cultural events.

The Alliance Française of Bangkok is a place where you can discover French culture in many aspects: French language, exhibitions, cinema, concerts, opportunities to travel and much more.

In May and June, the French Embassy and the Alliance Française will present a very active cultural agenda. Therefore we are proud to present all these events with the French Highlights’ # 1 program.

Concert Yelle
9 May at 9 pm at Live RCA

Known for having traveled the world with her band and given more than 350 concerts, particularly in the USA where she has achieved remarkable success, Yelle will perform at Live RCA in partnership with Medium Rare Live. This concert is part of the French Miracle Tour, an event organized by Institut français, combining concerts, artistic collaborations and promotion of French artists in Asia since 2015.

Marc Coppey considered to be one of today’s leading cellists, a pupil of Yehudi Menuhin, will be giving a concert at Alliance française Bangkok, accompanied by the Bangkok Chamber Orchestra and conducted by composer Laurent Couson.

Gilles Rieu, a “Globe Painter” artist had exhibitions from New York to China, passing through Israel and Japan. For his exhibition in Bangkok, he chose to work on rolls of paper 10 m long, very much like Kerouac for his book “On the Road”. The paintings incorporate images, graphs and languages, bodies, and pictorial gestures, echoing his experience.

A multicultural dance company made up of 6 dancers, directed by French choreographer, Nathanaël Marie, will give you an amazing show. This is the result of a Swiss and Thai partnership.

After a first tour in Southeast Asia in 2016, Multilateral continues its collaboration with Institut français in Indonesia and Silpakorn University in Bangkok. In Bangkok and Chiang Mai, concerts will close this week of masterclasses and workshops sessions.

The hip-hop dancer and choreographer Marion Motin has earned an excellent reputation on all stages. Working with the singers Stromae and Christine & the Queens she is also working with her company Swaggers, created in 2009. She claims the “quiet strength” of her dance, with in In the Middle, the Doors, Lhasa and Pixies’ music. A slogan: “let’s ignite, but install an atmosphere. ”

Based on her research on the aerial element, Phia Ménard created two performances on the wind presented in parallel. The exploration of unstable and ephemeral materials is the specialty of the artist. Between theater circus and dance, her universe is at the same time sensational and intimate. By confronting herself with physical elements, Phia Menard makes surprisingly tangible the relations of being in the world and to oneself.

After several exhibitions in France, the artist painter Diane Fourlegnie invites you to her exhibition at Alliance Française. Multicolor palette reflecting crossingcrops, explorations, sharings and smiles through the enthusiastic eyes of the artist established in Bangkok since 2016.

A legend says: Whoever folds a thousand paper cranes will see his wish fulfilled. By combining buto dance, hip-hop and origami, Valentine Nagata-Ramos draws inspiration from her origins and legend to tell about childhood and the path to adulthood. The company will organize 3 days of workshops with Thai hip-hop dancers for an in situ creation that will be presented the same evening.

After the Biennale of Singapore and Korea, the collection of FRAC (Regional Funds for Contemporary Art in France) will be presented to the BACC. What is not Visible is not invisible proposes a new mental and sensorial path, at the heart of the ephemeral and the sensitive. The project brings together 32 French and international artists whose work inspired the contents of the exhibition.

Galleries’ Night, 4th Edition
Introducing more activities for all ages
3 – 4 February 2017 

One of the most important events of the annual cultural program “La Fete”, Galleries’Night, organized by the French Embassy of Thailand, is returning for the fourth time, helping to promote contemporary art and highlighting dynamic creativity, introducing new experiences and pleasures, small and large to the public.

During the two nights, on Friday 3^rd and on Saturday February 4^th 2017, the audience will discover a wide variety of activities, such as Art Exhibitions, Performances, Meeting the artists, Screenings, Talks and Live Music from more than forty participating galleries and art spaces in Bangkok.

This year we will have “clusters”, several galleries and art spaces in one area, enhancing the activities, with places to rest and refreshments available along the Silom/Sathorn BTS line and riverside on Friday 3^rd and along the Sukhumvit BTS line on Saturday, February 4^th.

This year Galleries’ Night will be opening up a special platform with activities for children, young people and families during the afternoon of Saturday, February 4^th from 14:00. These activities will promote the introduction to contemporary art, held at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC).

This year Galleries’ Night will have volunteers at each gallery and art space which will be on hand to help and provide useful information to visitors. We will also expand the event schedule, starting from 17:00 onwards, allowing visitors more time to explore different activities during the two nights.

The programs and map routes of Galleries’ Night in Bangkok  on the Mobile Application “Galleriesnight” will be available to download for free on Apple Store and Google Play.
