<p>Gourmands are in for Bangkok’s most anticipated week-long culinary extravaganza, including Masterclasses, Mixologist Night, Cheese at SO/, SO Amazing Sunday Brunch and exclusive fine-dining experiences by the brightest culinary stars of Asia.</p>

<p>The event, which will be hosted by international celebrity chef Bobby Chinn, will kick off on <strong>1 November 2022</strong> with a <strong>Masterclass by Chef Peter Cuong Franklin from Anăn Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City</strong>, Vietnam. A pioneer of modern Vietnamese and Asian cuisine, Chef Peter was recognized as Tatler Asia’s Most Influential Tastemakers of 2021. At Anăn Saigon, he combines his deep knowledge of Southeast Asian street-food flavors with contemporary international techniques. Master the art of making &#8216;Shrimp &amp; Pork Rice Paper Roll&#8217; &#8211; listen, learn and sample this classic Vietanamese dish with Chef Peter.</p>

<p>For one-night-only, with the return of Cheese SO/: The SO Amazing Chefs Edition, cheese connoisseurs will get to enhance their epicurious palettes and dive into the world of cheese with <strong>Patrice and Philippe Marchand, master cheese affineurs (cheese ager) and co-owners of Les Frères Marchand</strong>, <strong>one of the oldest food artisans in France</strong>. Cheese lovers will be able to experience the original flavor of Tomme du Père, a creation of Philippe Marchand, in addition to other fan favorites such as Comte, Brillat-Savarin and raclette alongside artisan breads, cold cuts, charcuterie, trimmings, plus live DJ and saxophone performance. As always, free-flow sommelier wine selection will be on pour for those who’d like to ease into the evening as they savor handcrafted cheeses from Les Frères Marchand.</p>
<p>On <strong>2 November 2022</strong>, a <strong>Masterclass by Chef Bobby Chinn</strong> will see Chef Bobby sharing his tips and secrets to perfecting one of his signature dishes, Bún Bò &#8216;Beef&#8217;. Chef Bobby, no stranger to Bangkok&#8217;s food scene, is an international chef, award-winning restaurateur, cookbook author and a culinary celebrity known across Asia and the Middle East thanks to his role as the host of Discovery TLC’s World Café, and as a judge on MBC’sTop Chef Middle East.</p>
<p>Throughout the week, six SO Amazing Chefs will showcase their culinary craftsmanship in a series of fine- dining experiences as follow:</p>

<li><strong>SO Amazing Chefs: Memories on a Plate (Friday, 4 &amp; Saturday, 5 November):</strong> SO Amazing Chefs 2022 brings acclaimed Taiwanese chef Kai Ho for an exclusive four-hands collaborative dinner &#8220;Memories on a Plate&#8221; with Thailand’s rising star chef Pam Utharntharm from restaurant POTONG. For the first time, SO/ Bangkok will be hosting a SO Amazing Chefs dining experience externally for a truly immersive multi- sensory experience at restaurant POTONG, set in the stunning historical Sino-Portuguese building in the heart of Chinatown. Due to high demand and limited seatings, the event has been extended over two evenings.</li>

<p>Starting his culinary journey from Chinese to French cuisine with authentic Taiwanese spirit and passion, Kai has worked at other Michelin-starred restaurants in the United States, China, including JAAN and Guy Savoy in Singapore.</p>
<p>Kai intends to bring extensive cooking experience to Taïrroir from all over the world. This spectacular food fiesta will conclude with two SO Amazing Weekend Brunches, which will allow diners to see our celebrated chefs in action!</p>

He will be working alongside <b>Kamol Chobdee-ngam (Chef Gigg)</b> <b>of Lerdtip</b>, Winner of Iron Chef who specializes in modern Thai-Chinese cuisine. <b>Chef Prin Polsuk</b> <b>of Samrub Samrub Thai</b> previously worked at Nahm, the highly-acclaimed Thai restaurants in London and Bangkok, and now champions traditional Thai ingredients and recipes, while <b>Thitid Tassanakajohn (Chef Ton)</b>, <b>the owner/chef of many restaurants including Le Du</b> (the Michelin-starred restaurant), <b>Baan, Nusara, and Mayrai</b>, who is one of the world’s leading experts in modern Thai cuisine.</p>

Chef Penny is also appeared as a <b>judge on Top Chef Dessert, MasterChef Thailand</b>. Under her expert tutelage, up to 30 lucky guests will learn how to create world-class sweet treats from 14:00 to 16:30 hrs at MIXO. This unmissable occasion is priced at THB 2,500++ per person.</p>

Then on <b>Friday 29</b><b><sup>th</sup></b><b> October</b>, Chef Prin and Chef Tonn will team up to treat gourmands to an incredible eight-course meal that blends an “Past, Present and Future of Thai Cuisine” concept (THB 4,500++ or THB 5,900++ paired with wine). Finally, on Saturday 30<sup>th</sup> October, Chef Tam and Chef Num will pair up for a delectable “Farm to Table &#8211; Medicinal Cuisine” fine-dining evening that focuses on sustainable produce (THB 4,500++ or THB 5,900++ paired with wine).</p>

<p>This culinary extravaganza comes to a conclusion on <b>Saturday 31</b><b><sup>st</sup></b><b> October</b> and <b>Sunday 1</b><b><sup>st</sup></b><b> November</b> 2020, with two bountiful brunches at Red Oven featuring live stations hosted by our guest chefs! SO Amazing Chef Saturday Brunch (THB 1,900++ or THB 3,200++ with free-flow wine) will see Chef Randy handcraft Japanese delights, while Chef Gigg will create Chinese treats, Chef Chalee will focus on French cuisine, and Chef Prin will put his own twist on ancient Thai recipes, in front of diners’ eyes.</p>
<p>The SO Amazing Chef Sunday Brunch (THB 2,500++ or THB 3,800++ with free-flow wine) will then bring together six of our skilled chefs, with Chef Prin (ancient Thai), Chef Ton (modern Asian), Chef Gigg (Chinese), Chef Chalee (French), Chef Tam (Farm-to-Table) and Chef Randy (Japanese) all taking over the live stations and delighting diners with their amazing creations.</p>
