<p>One of the culinary world’s most fascinating talents, 2-Michelin Star Chef Philippe Mille, joins us for four delicious days at La VIE – Creative French Cuisine in VIE Hotel Bangkok, MGallery Sofitel to demonstrate his world-renowned skills in lunches and dinners during 22<sup>nd</sup> – 25<sup>th</sup> August, as well as in Villazzo Restaurant at V Villas Hua Hin, MGallery by Sofitel on 25<sup>th</sup> August 2018 only!</p>

<p>Born to a farming family in the Sarthe in Western France, Chef Philippe Mille has had the experience of observing the growth of vegetables and livestock his entire life, discovering every nuance that makes them perfect. His refined sense of appreciating fragrance and taste has led him to the notable creations that have earned him two Michelin stars.</p>
<p>Chef Philippe Mille is also one of the few chefs in the world to be awarded the coveted M.O.F. — the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France, the highest and most prestigious award amongst all professional craftsmen in France. Only those who have earned it are allowed to wear the red, white and blue collar which is its respected symbol.</p>
<p>Pleasure, generosity and childhood memories are at the heart of his inspiration. Chef Philippe Mille has also worked with some of the best names in France, having trained at L&#8217;Aubergade restaurant in Pontchartrain under Jean Bordier; at Le Drouant under Louis Grondard; at Le Pré Catelan under Frédéric Anton; at Lasserre and also at the Ritz under Michel Roth; at Le Scribe and then at Le Meurice under Yannick Alléno, with whom he was awarded the Bocuse bronze medal at the Bocuse d’Or.</p>

Chef Stéphane has also been named the Best French Professional and is well known as the “Crowning Touch” of acclaimed Le Chabichou, the oldest and most distinguished hotel in the charming village of Courchevel, one of the world’s most luxurious ski resorts, located high in the French Alps, an exclusive retreat of royalty, VIPs and celebrities.</p>

<p>Chef Sylvain Sendra: Hailing from acclaimed “food capital of the world” Lyon, in France, Sylvain completed his studies at Vatel Institute Culinary School and started his culinary career path at the famous <a href="http://www.google.co.th/url?sa=t&amp;rct=j&amp;q=&amp;esrc=s&amp;source=web&amp;cd=2&amp;cad=rja&amp;ved=0cguqfjab&amp;url=http%253a%252f%252fwww.hotelbyblossttropez.com%252f&amp;ei=g5xnub_ahirzrqetlodqdg&amp;usg=afqjcnhjq6s3lfpk1owtcu1rjb5wxcnuia&amp;bvm=bv.45175338,d.bmk">Hotel Byblos Saint-Tropez</a> in the south of France. His experience widened through working with 2-Michelin Star chef Jean Marc Delacourt who was honoured as Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 1991, at Château de La Chèvre d&#8217;Or (a castle turned hotel), under the Relais &amp; Châteaux luxury hotels group.</p>
<p>Sylvain then moved to London to work with Chef Alexis Gauthier (1-Michelin star) at Roussillon restaurant (Chef Alexis is the former chef of the famous 3-Michelin Star Chef Alain Ducasse&#8217;s restaurant Louis 15 in Monaco).</p>
<p>Back in Paris, he started a new trend with his &#8220;Parisian tapas&#8221; concept for an investor which was a huge business success. At age 24, he and his wife, Sarah, opened pocket-sized, 26-seat bistro, “Le Temps au Temps”, widely praised by the media. In May 2008, the Sendras, feeling the need to move further, opened Itinéraires with a focused menu incorporating unique culinary inspirations Sylvain acquired from his long-distance travels, such as to Japan and Peru, which has been described as offering “a great snap shot of the best of contemporary French bistro cooking”. Itinéraires achieved its first Michelin star in 2013 after four years of laudatory reviews from gourmets around the world, including a highly respectable mention in The New York Times and recently in Time Out Paris.</p>
