Anantara Siam Bangkok Collaborates with Pandora Jewellery and Prince’s Collection for New Afternoon Tea Experience Celebrating the Power of Love
Unveiling the next chapter of the exclusive Afternoon Tea Culture series, Anantara Siam Bangkok presents a collaboration between Danish jewellery house Pandora, Thai digital artist Tossapon (Prince) Kongpipattanakarn and hotel’s Cluster Executive Pastry Chef Anupong Nualchavee – chef Aey. Launching on 2nd February 2023, “The House of Eternity” afternoon tea invites guests to celebrate love in all its forms with a collection of site-specific art and limited-edition confectionery.
Specially commissioned for the project, Prince’s digital art explores the concept of romantic love alongside the love one feels for family and friends. Drawing on his childhood memories of favourite toys and first pets, as well as Pandora’s vision of love as a celebration of each couple’s uniqueness, the artist invites guests to embark on a journey down their own memory lane to reconnect with people and things they loved and lost. Soft and deliberately unfocused, as if viewed through the veil of time or a dream, the artist’s bittersweet musings are paired with a special selection of sweet and savoury creations from Anantara’s Cluster Executive Pastry Chef.
Opening with a palate cleanser of lemon bubble-gum ice cream lollipop, The House of Eternity menu includes double-chocolate chunky scones and strawberry and white chocolate chip scones served with clotted cream and homemade jams. The signature dessert – the Heart Key Lock – is an ode to romance rendered in dark chocolate, lychee and almond biscuits and inspired by Pandora’s delicate new charm. In addition to cherry blossom macarons, rose and lychee choux and raspberry coconut torte, guests will also be served red ruby chocolate fondue and savoury bites ranging from house-smoked duck breast in a pink bun with fig jam to quince and blue crab quiche and Parma ham pesto wrap.
The House of Eternity Tea is available daily from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the Lobby Lounge and is priced at THB 1,950++ for two guests including tea or coffee. For reservations, please call +66 2126 8866 or email dining.asia@anantara.com. Visit our website at www.anantara.com/en/siam-bangkok.
