The Embassy of France in Thailand in partnership with Alliance Française Bangkok organize the closing event of the France-Thailand Year of Innovation 2023 under the name of “Vivez l’innovation!” on Saturday 25 November 2023 from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm at Alliance Française Bangkok.

During the event, many activities will be held inside the Alliance Française Bangkok’s building with the schedule as follows:
10.00 am – 3.00 pm: Innovation village, activities and workshops (More details below)
• 1st and 3rd floor: Innovation village with different booths presenting the work and the concrete action of French and Thai companies and organizations who are the partners and sponsors of the France-Thailand Year of Innovation 2023.
• Media library: activities and creative workshops such as a virtual reality (VR) game, making innovative art and craft items, learning the basis of animation movies.
11.00 am – 12.30 pm: Official closing ceremony
• Auditorium: Official closing ceremony of the France-Thailand Year of Innovation 2023 with speeches and photocall, followed by the musical and visual performance show “The Amazing Franco-Thai time-machine” by two artists, Jonas Dept and Jean-David Caillouët, retracing more than 100 years of France-Thailand history and friendship, from the journey of King Rama V to France, to the recent launch of the THEOS-2 satellite, the result of a bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
12.30 am – 2.00 pm: Lunch break
• Innovation menu (main course + dessert = 250 THB) at Café Mademoiselle restaurant
2.00 pm – 3.00 pm: Lucky draw and quiz
• Auditorium: Lucky draw and quiz about France-Thailand Year of Innovation to win special gifts such as tickets to attend Paris 2024 Olympic Games, a return international flight and many others.

How to get to Alliance Française Bangkok
Alliance Française Bangkok is located on Wireless Road (Witthayu Road), opposite Lumphini Park, at 300 meters from the MRT Lumpini Station, Exit 3.
A free tuk-tuk shuttle service is available between Wireless Road and Alliance Française Bangkok’s building.

About the France-Thailand Year of Innovation 2023
Launched in January 2023, as part of the implementation of the roadmap for relations between Thailand and France, signed in February 2022 in Paris by the Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the two countries, the France-Thailand Year of Innovation (YOI) 2023 aimed at promoting a new image of the bilateral relations between the two countries by enhancing four main areas:
• Air and space
• Health, Well-being and Food
• Bio-Circular-Green Economy
• Creative and Cultural industries
The notion of « innovation » refers not only to scientific and technological developments but it echoes our common ambition to improve the existing, to reinvent ourselves and facilitate the development of our respective economies and societies.
Throughout 2023, more than 40 events and 15 collaboration projects were labelled with the logo “France-Thailand Year of Innovation 2023” or joined in celebrating this activity, with 23 official partners.
