This Mid-Autumn Festival, Blue by Alain Ducasse invites guests to celebrate the beauty of rare and cherished moments with its exclusive mooncake collection, “Once in a Blue Moon.” Inspired by the extraordinary phenomenon of the Blue Moon, the limited-edition collection embodies the spirit of togetherness, reunion, and the timeless joy of sharing meaningful moments with loved ones.
Created by Executive Pastry Chef Christophe Grilo, recipient of Tatler Thailand’s Best Pastry Chef 2026 and winner of Iron Chef Thailand 2025, the collection blends contemporary French savoir-faire with the rich heritage of Asian Mid-Autumn traditions. Each handcrafted mooncake offers a refined expression of flavor, texture, and artistry.
The “Once in a Blue Moon” collection features four distinctive creations:
• Coulant d’Or Lunaire – Egg Yolk Lava, a luxurious medley of textures with a rich molten center
• Tiramisu Clair de Lune – Coffee, Chocolate and Cream, an indulgent harmony of espresso, cacao, and velvety cream
• Lotus au Fromage – Lotus Cheese, a contemporary interpretation of the classic lotus flavor with a delicate creamy heart
• Sésame Volcanique – Black Sesame Lava, deeply roasted black sesame with a luscious molten core and lingering nutty finish
Inspired by the rare beauty of the Blue Moon, each mooncake is meticulously handcrafted to balance tradition with innovation, offering an elegant gift and a memorable experience for the Mid-Autumn season.
