Anne-Sophie Pic at Le Normandie Celebrates its First Anniversary with a Special Tasting Menu  The two-Michelin-starred restaurant revisits two dishes from its opening menu as part of a seven-course Anniversary Voyage, served at lunch and dinner from 16 to 27 September 2026.

Anne-Sophie Pic at Le Normandie, the two-Michelin-starred French restaurant at Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok, celebrates its first anniversary with a special seven-course tasting menu, available for lunch and dinner from 16 to 27 September 2026.

Over the past year, the restaurant has established itself as one of Bangkok’s leading dining destinations, with a distinctive culinary identity that brings Anne-Sophie Pic’s French heritage into dialogue with Thai ingredients. The anniversary menu captures this approach through her philosophy of Suffusion, centred on the intricate layering of aromas and flavours.

The Anniversary Voyage brings back two dishes from the restaurant’s opening menu: Blue Lobster with Red Fruits and roasted rack of lamb. Their return offers guests the opportunity to revisit two early expressions of Anne-Sophie Pic’s culinary vision for Bangkok.

Le Homard Bleu

The menu begins with La Tomate en Trompe l’œil, a crisp tomato shell scented with lavender, caraway seeds and smoked vanilla. This is followed by Le Ventrèche de Thon, pairing tuna belly with geranium, roasted kombu, seaweed and ginger cream, accented with caper leaves.

Anne-Sophie Pic’s signature Berlingots feature floral pasta filled with local cow’s cheese, accompanied by geranium, bergamot and maitake mushroom consommé.

For the seafood course, guests may choose the returning Le Homard Bleu, Brittany blue lobster cooked over embers and served with sake lees, fermented strawberries and red dashi, or La Sole de Bretagne, roasted Brittany sole infused with pomelo leaves and accompanied by Thai green vegetables, Sichuan pepper and curry leaf beurre blanc.

The main course offers a choice of Le Boeuf Wagyu, with Thai black garlic, smoked vanilla, folded leek, confit beef cheek and mustard grain pickles, or L’Agneau de l’Aveyron, roasted rack of lamb with rooibos kororima, masterwort root, chickpea socca and lamb sweetbreads.

The menu continues with a choice of Le Brie de Meaux, served with vanilla and milk jam, or La Salade de Livèche, a young shoot salad with lovage ice cream.

La Fraise Mara des Bois

For dessert, guests may select La Fraise Mara des Bois, combining strawberries with creamy matcha ganache, sesame praline and shiso sorbet, or L’Alvéole au Chocolat, a chocolate honeycomb creation with hojicha, cubeb pepper, bitter Corsican honey and olive oil.

A Caviar Supplement, comprising three courses featuring Oscietra caviar from Kaviari, is also available for THB 3,500++.

The seven-course Anniversary Voyage is priced at THB 9,000++ per person, with optional non-alcoholic and wine pairings available from THB 3,200++ to THB 11,000++.

Le Normandie first opened in 1958 as Le Normandie Grill, atop what was then one of Thailand’s tallest buildings. It later became Bangkok’s first French fine dining restaurant and has remained an important part of the city’s culinary history. In September 2025, the restaurant began a new chapter as Anne-Sophie Pic at Le Normandie, bringing together its longstanding heritage, Anne-Sophie Pic’s distinctive cuisine and its celebrated setting overlooking the Chao Phraya River.

Recognised as the world’s most Michelin-starred female chef, Anne-Sophie Pic leads a collection of restaurants that includes Maison Pic in Valence, which has retained three Michelin stars since 2007. At Anne-Sophie Pic at Le Normandie, her culinary vision is interpreted by Chef Tamaki Kobayashi and the restaurant’s culinary team.
