Organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), the “Harbour Chill Carnival”, a Happy Hong Kong initiative, was launched recently  , bringing a series of free street performances, X-game shows and Music Shows in the Harbour along the Wan Chai harbourfront in the evenings of five consecutive weekends. This  offers  local public and visitors a chance to enjoy a fun-filled summer with a beautiful view of Victoria Harbour.

Mr. Thierry Mathou, Ambassador of France to Thailand, his wife, Mrs. Cécile Mathou, held the French National Day (Bastille Day) reception at Swissotel Bangkok Ratchada (owned by the French hospitality conglomerate Accor). The event was attended by many Thai personalities as well as members of the Diplomatic Corps in Thailand, representatives from public and private agencies, sponsors and distinguished guests from various sectors, in a lively atmosphere. The Royal Thai Navy Orchestra came to perform at the reception, which also featured booths from sponsors.
