Building upon an already storied legacy, Fireplace Grill and Bar, at InterContinental Bangkok, is introducing a revamped menu starting from 10 June 2024 onwards. Complimenting its renowned selection of meats with seafood dishes, the spread also pays homage to the restaurant’s most beloved offerings – the heritage series.

Since 1966, Fireplace Grill and Bar has been garnering a reputation as a premier dining destination for Bangkok epicureans seeking quality cuisine inspired by the traditions of Europe. For generations, the restaurant has been known for its array of exceptional ingredients, from top-shelf Australian beef to fresh lobster from Nova Scotia.

Through a revitalised menu, the restaurant is further refining its most enticing aspects, balancing its premium international meats with equally excellent seafood.

The harmony begins with new starters that include Seared Foie Gras and Scottish Brown Crab. From there, chilled seafood like Kaviari Oscietra Prestige Caviar and Akami Tuna present novel ways to savour the ocean. Rounding out the section are Butter Roasted Canadian Lobster, Pan-Fried Toothfish and Sicilian Red Prawns in a tagliolini.

These are matched in the steak selection with prime choices from Japan, the United States and Australia. Main course choices of Charcoal Half Baby Chicken and Australian Lamb Rack further uplift the revitalised menu.

For seafood, the Prawn Cocktail refreshes while line-caught Dover Sole pairs deliciously with sautéed broccolini and garlic oil. Long favoured by gourmets, the Tournedos Veal Rossini, stands alongside mainstay steaks Stockyard Prime Rib and Stanbroke Sanchoku Wagyu Striploin. A classic of the restaurant and of French dining, the heritage dessert spot is filled by Crêpes Suzette.
