Pop up Dining of Contemporary Thai Flavours from Iron Chef Tammasak ‘Noi’ Chootong at the Spice Market Restaurant

Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel’s signature Thai restaurant ‘The Spice Market’ announces it’s latest pop up dinner, partnering with award winning Iron Chef Tammasak ‘Noi’ Chootong to bring a modern interpretation to Thai flavours. A mouthwatering six course culinary journey of the palate unfolds, and is only available for 40 guests per evening.
Chef Alessandra del Favero together with Chef Oliver Piras, of 1 Michelin-star AGA Ristorante in San Vito di Cadore,Italy presented one of their most favorite dishes, “Fresh Tagliolini, Pork Neck Ragout Juice. Licorice Thé” during a master class at the 19th World Gourmet Festival, a Bangkok’s major gastronomic event hosted annually by Anantara Siam Bangkok.

19th World Gourmet Festival Brings a Stellar Line Up of International Chefs to Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel
In a nod to the Thai capital taking its rightful place on the international culinary stage with the launch of the first Bangkok edition of the Michelin Guide last year, a stellar line up of thirteen chefs from twelve Michelin-starred restaurants are set to take over one of the city’s most exclusive addresses.
Anantara Siam Bangkok organized the first gathering of Thailand’s Top Sommeliers in “The Thai Sommelier Affair 2018” led by Mr. Prateep Kanisthachart, Sommelier of Anantara Siam Bangkok. This event aimed to promote the sommelier profession in Thailand and to offer wine lovers a chance to meet award-winning sommeliers and renowned Chefs as they shared their passion and discussed their favourites while learning and tasting nearly 200 labels of premium vintages from 23 companies.

Japanese Chef Hiroaki Ishizuka of 1 Michelin star Kien restaurant in the Akasaka district, Tokyo, conducted a cooking demonstration session exclusively at the 18th World Gourmet Festival, a major gastronomic event in Bangkok, hosted annually by Anantara Siam Bangkok.
The dish presented on this occasion was a “Kuruma Prawn in Japanese Pumpkin Dumpling, Slow Cooked Duck Breast, Snow Peas”, which was one of the delightful 5-course menu served during the festival.
