Anantara Siam Bangkok organized the first gathering of Thailand’s Top Sommeliers in “The Thai Sommelier Affair 2018” led by Mr. Prateep Kanisthachart, Sommelier of Anantara Siam Bangkok. This event aimed to promote the sommelier profession in Thailand and to offer wine lovers a chance to meet award-winning sommeliers and renowned Chefs as they shared their passion and discussed their favourites while learning and tasting nearly 200 labels of premium vintages from 23 companies.

Japanese Chef Hiroaki Ishizuka of 1 Michelin star Kien restaurant in the Akasaka district, Tokyo, conducted a cooking demonstration session exclusively at the 18th World Gourmet Festival, a major gastronomic event in Bangkok, hosted annually by Anantara Siam Bangkok.
The dish presented on this occasion was a “Kuruma Prawn in Japanese Pumpkin Dumpling, Slow Cooked Duck Breast, Snow Peas”, which was one of the delightful 5-course menu served during the festival.
Portuguese Chef Miguel Laffan of 1-Michelin star L’AND Vineyards in Alentejo, Portugal, conducted a cooking demonstration of one of his signature dishes, ”Pork Terrine, Langoustine Tart, Fennel Purée, Carrot Salad with Passion Fruit and Bergamot”, at the 18th World Gourmet Festival, a major gastronomic event in Bangkok, hosted annually by Anantara Siam Bangkok.

The “Discover Wines of Italy Bangkok 2017” Grand Tasting & Exhibition, which was under the Patronage of the Embassy of Italy Bangkok & the Italy Trade Agency, took place recently in the Grand Ballroom of Anantara Siam Bangkok.
Japanese Chef Hideaki Sato of 1-Michelin Star Ta Vie restaurant in Hong Kong conducted a cooking demonstration of “Mille-Fleurs” aux Framboises (Rose~Rasberry~Red Dragon) dessert during his recent participation at the 17th World Gourmet Festival at Anantara Siam Bangkok.
