About The Thai Cheese Tour Campaign:
Founded in 2013, VIVIN Grocery has become a purveyor of fine, artisanal, locally produced goods in Thailand, for 10 years they have worked closely with the founding artisanal cheese producers and also produce their selection of cold cuts and other artisanal foods at their two outlets in Bangkok.
Originating from a need to support the challenges of Thai cheese production for select producers during COVID-19, VIVIN Grocery’s monthly buffet evolved into a niche culinary attraction, showcasing over 20 varieties of Thai cheese alongside homemade charcuterie and locally sourced ingredients. This initiative not only alleviated cheese surplus during that period but over time promoted awareness of local cheese and sustainable food practices, establishing VIVIN Grocery as one of the leading artisanal grocery and artisanal suppliers in Thailand. In 2023, VIVIN Grocery began a campaign to take the Thai Cheese Buffet on the road with the Thai Cheese Tour.
The Thai Cheese Tour 2023-2024 encompasses six stop-offs across the nation, including Bangkok, Hua Hin, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Khao Yai, and Koh Samui. Along the way, guests can anticipate surprise side tours, adding an extra layer of excitement and discovery to the culinary journey.
The tour’s pop-up events will feature an array of Thai cheeses, homemade cold cuts, jams, chutneys, dried fruits, pickles, and artisanal bread, all in the spirit of VIVIN Grocery’s iconic Thai Cheese Buffet. Each partner establishment will customise its offerings, highlighting local Thai produce and contributing to sustainable practices. Select venues will also incorporate live entertainment, dynamic lighting, and rock concert-style props to amplify the experience. Fans can groove with the theme by purchasing special rock-themed merchandise, including tour t-shirts, bags, and other items.
GranMonte Vineyard and Winery, Thailand’s only Geographical Indication (GI)-certified wine, adds a refined touch to this rocking culinary journey.
