Austrian Ambassador H.E. Mr Enno Drofenik opened the Second Edition of The Big Bottle Party in Bangkok at The Conrad Hotel Bangkok. The event featured 22 wineries from Austria’s key wine producing areas, putting a particular highlight on red wines this time. More than 90 big magnum bottles were offered for tasting – hence the name big bottle party! Austrian and Thai sommeliers stood ready for debates among experts and happily offered their advice. There has been increasing demand for Austrian wines for the past couple of years – Thai wine lovers still seem to have a preference for Austrian red wines, but the white ones are making up ground quickly.

พณฯ เอกอัครราชทูตออสเตรียนประจำประเทศไทย มร. เอนโน โดรเฟนนิค เปิดงานไวน์ออสเตรียนบิ๊กบอลเทิล ครั้งที่สอง เมื่อเร็ว ๆ นี้ ที่โรงแรมคอนราด กรุงเทพ ในงานมีการนำไวน์แดง ไวน์ขาวและสปาร์คกลิ้งไวน์ จากโรงไวน์ชั้นนำ 22 แห่งมาให้ลิ้มลอง และเพื่อเป็นไปตามธรรมเนียมให้สมกับชื่องาน มีไวน์บิ๊กบอลเทิลขนาดแมกนั่มกว่า 90 ชนิดมาเชิญชวนให้ผู้ร่วมงานได้ลิ้มลอง โดยตลอดงานมีซอมเมอลิเยร์ชาวออสเตรียนและชาวไทยพร้อมพูดคุยให้คำแนะนำ สำหรับไวน์ออสเตรียนนั้นเป็นที่ต้องการของคนรักไวน์ชาวไทยเพิ่มขึ้นเรื่อย ๆ และแม้ว่าไวน์แดงจะยังเป็นสุดยอดนิยม ไวน์ขาวและสปาคกลิ้งดูจะตีตื้นไล่ขึ้นมาไม่แพ้กัน หากไม่เชื่อ ต้องลองชิมตัวนี้ดู Szigeti Brut สปาคกลิ้งไวน์ทำจากสายพันธ์ Gruner Veltliner ที่เลื่องชื่อของออสเตรีย  รสสดใสชื่นมื่นทีเดียวเชียว
