Jean Sulpice is the chef and owner of the 2-Michelin Star Jean Sulpice restaurant (located at an altitude of 2300 metres) on the majestic mountain of Val Thorens, the highest ski resort in the French Alps. His restaurant is considered to be the highest Michelin starred restaurant in Europe.
A native of Aix les Bains, Jean was born into a family of restaurateurs. He successfully developed his culinary skills up to the highest level and received his first star at the age of 26. With his culinary passion, he achieved two stars at the very young age of 31, establishing him as a true phenomenon in the world of gastronomy.
