THAILAND SECURES EIGHT ENTRIES ON 2019 LIST OF
ASIA’S 50 BEST RESTAURANTS
Odette, Singapore, Lands the No.1 Spot

The 2019 list of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, was announced at an awards ceremony at Wynn Palace, Macao. After holding the No.1 spot for four consecutive years, Gaggan in Bangkok moves to No.2, acceding to Odette in Singapore. Chef Julien Royer’s Odette claims the coveted titles of The Best Restaurant in Asia, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, and The Best Restaurant in Singapore. Gaggan retains the title of The Best Restaurant in Thailand.

27 RESTAURANTS AWARDED STARS IN THE MICHELIN GUIDE BANGKOK, PHUKET AND PHANG-NGA 2019

PRU in Phuket, Ruean Panya in Samut Sakhon, and Suan Thip in Nonthaburi Named the First One-Michelin-Star Restaurants Outside Bangkok

Michelin today releases the MICHELIN Guide Bangkok, Phuket and Phang-Nga 2019, the second edition of the MICHELIN Guide in Thailand, and the first to cover new territories outside Bangkok: Phuket, Phang-Nga, and Bangkok’s surrounding provinces (Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Sakhon, and Samut Prakan). In this latest edition, 217 dining and 67 lodging establishments are featured – with a total of four two star restaurants, of which one is a new addition; and 23 one star establishments, of which 10 are new additions.
