INTERCONTINENTAL BANGKOK HOSTS THE YOUNG SOMMELIERS COMPETITION 2017 BY CHAINE DES ROTISSEURS
InterContinental Bangkok recently played host to the first-ever Young Sommeliers Competition 2017, sponsored by the Chaine des Rotisseurs.
In 2007, the Chaîne inaugurated the annual International Jeunes Sommeliers Competition to offer young sommeliers, between the ages of 21 and 31, the opportunity to present their skills and ‘savoir faire’ under highly competitive, intense and gruelling testing conditions.
The Banyan Tree Bangkok recently hosted an evening of an exclusive preview to introduce Chef Stefan Heilemann, of 2-Michelin Star ECCO in Zurich, who will be guest chef at Vertigo TOO during July 29 to August 1, 2017.

So Amazing Chefs 2017 returns for its 6th year, bringing with it 12 chefs experts – representing a total of 12 Michelin stars – plus 6 culinary masters (a spice master, a master chocolatier, 2 cheese masters, an oyster shucker master, and a visual culinary master), for 6 culinary beauty and feasts running from 26 September to 1 October 2017 at So Sofitel Bangkok.
The “Discover Wines of Italy Bangkok 2017” Grand Tasting & Exhibition, which was under the Patronage of the Embassy of Italy Bangkok & the Italy Trade Agency,
took place recently in the Grand Ballroom of Anantara Siam Bangkok.
