Bangkok Chefs Charity 2016

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously presided over 2016 Bangkok Chef charity dinner in the Royal Ballroom of the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, with this year’s fundraising reached a total of 23 million Baht, the highest since the event was first held 8 years ago.

สมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดา ฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี เสด็จ ฯ เป็นองค์ประธานงานดินเนอร์การกุศล Bangkok Chefs Charity 2016 ณ ห้องรอยัล บอลรูม โรงแรมแมนดาริน โอเรียนเต็ล กรุงเทพฯ โดยมี นันทิยา และพัชรินทร์ เหมอังกูร แห่งบริษัทกูร์เมท์ วัน นำเชฟใหญ่รวมทั้งสิ้น 21 คน จาก 20 โรงแรมชั้นนำ และบริษัทการบินไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) มาร่วมกันปรุงอาหาร ซึ่งรายได้จากการจำหน่ายบัตรและระดมทุนทั้งหมด จะนำขึ้นทูลเกล้าถวายเพื่อสมทบทุนมูลนิธิสายใจไทย มูลนิธิโรงเรียนตำรวจตระเวนชายแดน ในสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี และโรงเรียนยากจน ในอำเภอ อมก๋อย จังหวัดเชียงใหม่

Vinexpo Bordeaux is a major gathering for the entire industry – a key date for all wine and spirits professionals. And every two years Vinexpo Hong Kong brings together producers from the entire world keen to break into the growing markets in Asia-Pacific.
The recent 7th Vinexpo Hong Kong was more international than ever. There were 1,300 exhibitors from 33 countries presented more than 55 different categories of wine and spirits, from Champagne and port to whisky and tequila. This formidable global showcase is unique in its diversity and the variety of products on offer.
The increasingly international positioning of Vinexpo Hong Kong shows not only in the visitor numbers, up 2.5% on 2014, but also in the remarkable increased diversity of visitors, with the number of countries represented rising from 25 to 51. คึกคักเข้าวันที่ 3 ของ Vinexpo Bordeaux ที่ผ่านมาชิมฝรั่งเศสมาสองวันเต็ม วันนี้เลยเริ่มอยากหันมาลองไวน์อิตาลีดูบ้าง ว่าแล้วก็เดินดุ่ม ไปเจอบูธ Bottega ไวน์ดังจากแคว้น Veneto ที่แถมเป็นคนรู้จักคุ้นเคย เลยจ่อนั่งชิมไวน์สบายอารมณ์ไปเลย

นั่งนาน รับฟังบรีฟเรื่องไวน์หลายอย่าง เพลิน รวมทั้งชิมไปมากมายหลายตัว ออกสตาร์ทด้วย Prosecco สปากกลิ้งไวน์ขึ้นชื่อของอิตาลี แค่เริ่มก็เข้าไปหลายตัว อันดับแรกเป็น Cuvee Diamond สวยหรูในขวดพื้นสีดำประดับเพชร ตามด้วย Bottega Gold รสชาติสดชื่นและสดใส งามจับตาในขวดสีทอง และอื่นๆ อีกหลายตัวที่ยอมรับว่าจำรายละเอียดไม่ได้หมด เช่น Cuvee Rose แต่ละตัวมีความลึกซึ้งลงตัวที่แตกต่างกันออกไป และล้วนเป็นสปากกลิ้งมีระดับผลิตอย่างประณีตโดย Bottega

The Culinary Showdown competition and gala dinner, which was the highlight of So Amazing Chefs gastronomic event, gathered 12 renowned chefs, 7 Michelin stars from around the world. Proceeds from the evening went towards the CCF Foundation under The Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.

งานเริ่มด้วยการเปิดตัวเชฟที่แบ่งออกเป็น 4 ทีม ออกมาโชว์ตัวให้เห็นว่าใครเป็นใครภายใต้บรรยากาศครื้นเครง ก่อนจะแท็คทีมปรุงอาหาร แสดงทักษะความสามารถและสปิริตของทีมเวิร์ค รังสรรค์เมนู จาก secret ingredient โจทย์วัตถุดิบพิเศษ ที่วันนี้เป็น ปลา yellow fin tuna ขนาดใหญ่ยักษ์ หนักหลายสิบกิโล ที่ส่งตรงมาจากเกาะมัลดีฟ ให้ทันตามกำหนดกติกาภายในเวลา 50 นาที

Fin – Fabulous is Needed, Thailand’s premier boutique wine importer launched their new concept called ‘Fin Naturally’ at Bo.lan restaurant. The event was to launch Fin’s collection of sustainable, organic and biodynamic boutique wines of more than 240 labels that are from over 80 producers around the world as well as raise awareness for the sustainable, organic and local produce in Thailand. The event comprises of 40 boutique wines from artisan winemakers who take care, precision and dedication in their vineyards and winery to craft limited production wines that are honest and true expressions of its terroir.
