The event was to launch Fin’s collection of sustainable, organic and biodynamic boutique wines of more than 240 labels that are from over 80 producers around the world as well as raise awareness for the sustainable, organic and local produce in Thailand. The event comprises of 40 boutique wines from artisan winemakers who take care, precision and dedication in their vineyards and winery to craft limited production wines that are honest and true expressions of its terroir.

เก็บภาพมาฝากจากไวน์แฟร์ Vinexpo Bordeaux 2015 หนึ่งในแค่สองสามงานไวน์ยิ่งใหญ่ระดับโลก จัดทุก ๆ สองปี ที่เมืองบอร์กโดซ์ทางตอนใต้ของฝรั่งเศส โดยขนาดงานนี้อาจไม่ใช่งานใหญ่ที่สุดของโลก แต่ถ้าพูดถึงความโก้และความเก๋กันแล้วละก็ รับรองได้ว่างานนี้มาเป็นอันดับหนึ่ง

แค่ทางเดินเข้างานก็กินขาด เป็น floating bridge ยาวเหยียด ปูลาดด้วยพรมแดงตลอดทางข้ามทะลสาบขนาดใหญ่ทีเดียว ทุกย่างก้าวเดินไปเขย่าไป งานนี้เลยต้องมี life guard มานั่งเฝ้า ไว้คอยสอยคนที่เดินแล้วพลัดตกน้ำ โชคดีที่เที่ยวนี้ยังไม่มีให้เห็น

Austrian Ambassador H.E. Mr Enno Drofenik opened the Second Edition of The Big Bottle Party in Bangkok at The Conrad Hotel Bangkok. The event featured 22 wineries from Austria’s key wine producing areas, putting a particular highlight on red wines this time. More than 90 big magnum bottles were offered for tasting – hence the name big bottle party! Austrian and Thai sommeliers stood ready for debates among experts and happily offered their advice. There has been increasing demand for Austrian wines for the past couple of years – Thai wine lovers still seem to have a preference for Austrian red wines, but the white ones are making up ground quickly.

Great Wines of Italy, Asia’s largest premium Italian wine tasting event, united world famous wine critic James Suckling with more than 40 of Italy’s most renowned wine makers, 58 leading Italian vineyards and boutique wineries and more than 120 of the finest Italian wines for a Bacchanal the likes of which Bangkok has never seen before.

Many of the wines available for tasting at Great Wines of Italy, which took place recently at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel in Bangkok, were featured in the American’s Top 100 Italian Wines of the Year 2014’s list. Each of more than 120 Premium wines were poured – many by the men and women who made them – was awarded 90 points or more by James Suckling for outstanding quality and character, including such prestigious names as Ornellaia, Bibi Graetz, Casanova di Neri, Antinori, Pio Cesare and Frescobaldi.

Great Wines of Italy offered the unique opportunity to meet with some of Italy’s best winemakers, as well as try many outstanding wines not available in Thailand amongst other top Super Tuscans, Brunellos, Barolos, Amarones and reds from Sicily.
