MICHELIN STAR CHEF ANDREA CANNALIRE AT ROSSINI’S

Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok, on January 17 and 18, Rossini’s welcomes Michelin star Chef Andrea Cannalire from the acclaimed restaurant Cielo Relais La Sommità in Ostuni, southern Italy.

Chef Andrea was classically trained under some of the most revered and respected Italian chefs at one-and two-Michelin-starred restaurants in Italy, among them Parizzi, Schuman, Magnolia, Bracali, Unico and Al Pont de Ferr.

A chef with a passion for precision, Chef Andrea creates sensory journeys that blend tradition with experimentation. At Rossini’s, diners can choose dishes from a perfectly composed menu which includes exemplarily dishes with optional wine pairings from Conti Zecca, Puglia, Italy. The menu will include antipasti of raw langoustine, nectarine and foie gras or Tuscan panzanella salad accompanied by Follador Torri di Credazzo Prosecco Extra Dry 2017. Then enjoy a potato and leek soup with oyster and crispy rice paired with Conti Zecca, Donna Marzia Vermentino 2018.  Discover a choice of pasta including mix pasta Gentile, cacio and pepper sauce, lemon and mussels or cold spaghettone gentile, basil pesto sauce with fine de Claire oyster and black truffle to enjoy with Conti Zecca Agapo Moscato 2018.

There will also be a choice of main course dishes such as eggplant and tomatoes parmigiana, black cod with cime di rape, baby spinach avocadoes and lemon and Australian beef tenderloin, belguim endive, leek and beer caviar matched with Conti Zecca Genesi Primitivo 2016. The memorable evening of Michelin star dining will end with a delicious dessert of chocolate bon bon with raspberry or coconut, lemon, coffee and crumble with Oscar 697 Vermouth Rosso Organic, Piedmont. 

Renowned as one of the finest Italian restaurants in Bangkok, Rossini’s serves highly accomplished modern Italian cuisine in the sophisticated setting of a Tuscan villa. The restaurant is defined by the passion, creativity and flair of its gifted Executive Chef Gaetano Palumbo. Born in Sicily, he grew up in Sciacca, a traditional fishing town in Agrigento Province, an area known as the culinary heart of traditional Sicilian cuisine.

Rossini’s is the recipient of L’Assiette Michelin, the Michelin Plate, a new worldwide designation included in the renowned Michelin Guide that indicates a “restaurant where the inspectors discovered quality food.”

4 courses with a choice of appetizer, pasta, main and dessert, including 2 glasses of wine at THB 3,050

5 courses with a choice of appetizer, soup, pasta, main and dessert, including 3 glasses of wine at THB 3,300 or 5 courses with full wine pairings at THB 3,500
