The Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok welcomes two Michelin-Starred Chef Takagi Kazuo to Lord Jim’s Restaurant at for a series of exclusive meals in February. For lunch, he will create a special sushi and sashimi menu and Buffet Lunch at THB 1,800++ (THB 2,119 net) on Monday-Friday and THB 2,500++ (THB 2,943 net) on Saturday and Sunday per person.

แคว้นเบอร์กันดีทางตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือของประเทศฝรั่งเศส  หาได้โด่งดังแค่ด้านการผลิตไวน์ที่เลื่องชื่อที่สุดของโลกเท่านั้น  หากยังขึ้นชื่อด้วยอาหารรสชาติสูตรท้องถิ่นอันหลากหลาย  ที่รู้จักกันดีก็อย่างเช่น หอยเอสคาร์โก้ตำรับเบอร์กันดี  (escargots de Bourgogne) ที่ชื่นชอบกันระดับโลก  เนื้อตุ๋นไวน์แดงอันเลิศรส  บีฟ บูร์กิญยง ( bœuf bourguignon)   สูตรคลาสสิกไก่ตุ๋นไวน์ ก๊อก โอ แว็ง (coq au vin)  และ เอิฟ อ็อง เมอแรท  (Oeuf en meurette)   ซึ่งก็คือ  ไข่ลวกในไวน์แดงสายพันธ์ พิโน่ นัวร์ ที่เป็นองุ่นท้องถิ่นของเบอร์กันดีนั่นเอง

Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne งานไวน์ยิ่งใหญ่ของเบอร์กันดี

ทุก ๆ สองปี แคว้นเบอร์กันดี  แหล่งผลิตไวน์เลื่องชื่อของโลก  ในประเทศฝรั่งเศส  จะจัดงานไวน์ยิ่งใหญ่ในชื่อว่า  Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne หรือ The Grand Days of Burgundy

ปีนี้ก็เช่นกัน งานจัดใหญ่ 5 วันเต็ม และนับเป็นครั้งที่ 13 โดยงานครั้งแรกนั้นจัดขึ้นในปี 1992  กิจกรรมมากมายกระจัดกระจายไปในหลายพื้นที่  เปิดโอกาสให้ผู้อยู่ในธุรกิจไวน์และผู้ที่หลงไหลในเสน่ห์ของไวน์ได้มาพบปะ  พร้อมชิมวินเทจล่าสุด   ซึ่งในครั้งนี้นอกจากจะเผยโฉมปี  2014  เป็นพิเศษแล้ว  ยังมีไวน์ดีจากปีเก่าก่อน  จากเขตต่าง ๆ ของเบอร์กันดี มาให้ได้ลิ้มชิมรสกัน

12 เชฟระดับโลกรวม  11  ดาวมิชลิน ร่วมแข่งขันเพื่อการกุศลใน “So Amazing Chefs Culinary Showdown” หนึ่งในงานไฮไลต์ของเทศกาล So Amazing Chefs 2017 ที่จัดขึ้นเป็นปีที่ 6 ณ โรงแรม โซ โซฟิเทล แบงคอก

SO Amazing Chefs 2017 returned for its 6th year, bringing with it 12 chefs experts – representing a total of 12 Michelin stars.

One of the main highlights of this one-week exciting  event was the Culinary Showdown competition and gala dinner, where it’s ‘hats on and gloves off’ with SO Amazing Chefs competing against one another in the name of charity.
