Revived by the “natural wine” movement only a decade ago; put simply, orange wine is white wine made as if it was red wine. The maceration of pulp with the skins extracts pigments and tannins. As a result, the produced wine exhibits a notably amber color, intense complex aromas and sometimes firm tannins.
